    Existing homes often have more potential than first appears.

    Whether you need more space, better flow, more light, or a stronger connection to the outdoors, I can help identify where the best opportunities lie and where investment will make the greatest difference.

    This can include extensions, internal reconfiguration, kitchen and living changes, additional rooms, and improvements to the comfort and performance of existing homes.

    Designing a new home is an opportunity to consider everything together from the beginning.

    The site, sun, outlook, privacy, budget, materials and the rhythms of everyday life.

    Rather than starting with a preconceived style, the design develops from an understanding of what matters most to you and what the site has to offer.

    I can guide the project from early feasibility and concept design through consent, documentation, tendering and construction, with careful consideration of orientation, daylight, thermal performance, material choices and long-term energy use.

  • How far would you like me to take the project?

    The level of architectural involvement can vary depending on the project, its complexity and your needs.

    For renovations and new homes, I can provide a full architectural service through to completion, or tailor my involvement to suit your needs.

    You may choose to work with me through to:

    Building Consent
    Design development, consultant coordination and documentation needed for consent.

    Tender + Contractor Selection
    Preparing tender information, answering queries and helping you assess contractor proposals.

    Construction
    Contract administration, site observation and ongoing architectural support during the build.

    The scope can be agreed at the outset and adjusted as the project develops.
